In light of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Developments (OECD’s) Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) program, jurisdictions all over the world are increasing their focus and scrutiny on the taxation of companies, and in particular, transfer pricing.
Vietnam is no different having recently introduced groundbreaking transfer pricing rules. Announced last year on February 24, changes outlined under Decree No.20/2017/ND-CP (Decree 20) became effective May 1. Decree 20 impacts all companies in Vietnam, both foreign and domestic, engaging in related party transactions.
On March 21st, Dezan Shira & Associates’ Head of International Tax and Transfer Pricing, Paul Dwyer, and Transfer Pricing Associate, Filippo Bortoletti, will provide an overview of Decree 20 and what it means for your business.
