With its strong growth trajectory, the logistics industry has been playing a vital role in Vietnam’s integration into the global economy, while simultaneously helping Vietnamese enterprises expand their operational reach and enhance their competitiveness in the international market. However, along with these opportunities, the logistics sector is also facing significant challenges, particularly in the context of digital transformation and the rapid pace of technological change. Embracing new trends, improving infrastructure, and enhancing supply chain management capabilities are crucial factors for the logistics industry to achieve breakthroughs and maintain its competitive edge.
To clearly identify the trends, opportunities and challenges amidst these changes, under the auspices of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, VIR will organize the 2nd Logistics Summit 2024 on Thursday, October 31 at JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
Themed “Transform to breakthrough”, the summit will delve deeply into the most pressing issues facing the industry, such as modernizing logistics infrastructure, improving supply chain efficiency, driving digital transformation, and developing new logistics business models.
The summit is expected to have the participation of more than 300 guests including leaders of state management authorities, industry experts, logistics services providers and users, manufacturing enterprises in various fields, leading consultants in logistics and supply chain management, and media agencies.
