In the first quarter of 2024-25, India experienced a robust 26.4% year-on-year growth in gross inward Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), reaching US$ 22.5 billion. This surge was primarily driven by significant investments in manufacturing, financial services, communication services, computer services, and electricity and other energy sectors, which together accounted for around 80% of total inflows. Key source countries, including Singapore, Mauritius, the Netherlands, the US, and Belgium, contributed to 75% of these investments.

To gain deeper insights into India's evolving FDI landscape and emerging opportunities, join us for an insightful webinar on September 25, Wednesday, where our Business Intelligence Manager, Koushan Das, will discuss the latest FDI trends, highlight key sources of investment, and identify the top states driving these inflows.

Additionally, this session will cover industry-specific insights, including sector-wise FDI distribution and emerging industries that have seen an uptick due to supportive government policies. Koushan will also address the primary challenges faced by foreign businesses and provide strategic insights to help investors navigate these complexities and leverage opportunities within India's dynamic landscape.
