China (Shenyang) International Finance Summit 2016

Shenyang, China | May 5 - 6, 2016

May 05, 2016

This Euromoney-produced Summit explores the business and financing opportunities arising from the revitalisation of Northeast China’s economy.

Held in one of China’s major manufacturing bases, attendees will have an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the economic reality of a leading Chinese tier-two city.

Despite volatility in the Chinese economy, the country continues to actively transition its economy away from investment-led growth towards one that is driven by consumption. In 2015, China embraced the concept of ‘Internet Plus’ which promotes the use of internet technologies to transform and upgrade traditional industries. Augmenting this plan is the ‘Made in China 2025’ initiative which aims to use advanced technologies to help turn China into a green and innovative manufacturing power.

At the forefront of this national economic transformation are Shenyang’s highly-automated BMW Brilliance assembly plant and the newly-mandated Sino-German Industrial Park which aims to unleash the full potential of Germany’s advanced technology with China’s manufacturing prowess.

Attendees will hear from regional and international speakers on the business and financing opportunities from these initiatives. The proceedings will be simultaneously interpreted in English and Chinese. Over 500 business leaders, bankers, private equity partners, industry experts and government representatives from more than 20 countries will be in attendance.

For those interested, there will be offsite tours to visit the state-of-the-art BMW Brilliance assembly plant, infrastructure projects, and meetings with the region’s leading companies.
