Summit to Highlight Anti-Corruption Compliance in China

Corruption remains a serious social problem around the world, costing the global economy an estimated 2% GDP annually. However, in recent years anti-corruption enforcement has become increasingly coordinated among jurisdictions. In China, a vigorous anti-corruption campaign has made substantial progress, and companies have taken measures to adapt to the new enforcement environment.

With the goal of assisting companies in designing and implementing anti-corruption compliance measures, Duxes will host the 10th China Anti-Corruption Compliance Summit 2017 on October 26-27 in Shanghai. The summit will bring together leaders in the field, from industry and government, to discuss recent changes to the enforcement environment in China, and highlight best compliance practices.

The event will open with a range of content addressing anti-corruption enforcement climate in China and around the world, with the latest information on FCPA trends, as well as priorities for national regulators in China, and local regulators in Shanghai. Later on the first day, compliance officers in the corporate world will delve into optimal compliance strategies. The final day will detail industry-specific corruption risks for healthcare and auto, in addition to detailing applications for big data, risk management, due diligence, and other important topics.

The 10th China Anti-Corruption Compliance Summit promises to fulfill Duxes’ decade-long commitment to helping companies combat corruption, and facilitating exchange between private and public sector institutions. Professionals working in compliance, for law and consulting firms, or in related fields, are invited to attend.
