Higher life expectancy across the globe, and growing health consciousness among consumers, has provided a bright outlook for the functional food and nutraceutical market. The industry is expected to grow at a compounded annual rate (CAGR) of 7.4% over the next five years. The Asia Pacific region is expected to contribute significantly to this growth, as consumers in emerging economies such as China, Thailand, and Indonesia, figure to spend a significant portion of their increasing disposable incomes on health products.

AGENDA

The summit’s first day will include testimony on the regulatory environment in Southeast Asia, and other important jurisdictions. The summit will conclude with content on elderly nutrition, and a discussion with panelists from leading global health and nutrition companies, on the role of functional foods and nutraceuticals in everyday life.
